seems many conferences are ok with lower seeded teams playing 4 in 4. i just dont understand it. for example if you have more than 8 teams why not play the first round on say wed. and then go with the final 8 for fri/sat/sun. why is this not done anywhere? as for the big east, why not play all 16 teams (instead of takin top 12) in tourney format? :think2:
I think 4 games in 4 days is fair because it penalizes the lower seeded teams and give the higher seeded teams a big advantage because they did well during the regular season in their conference. This is an incentive as to why it is important to do well and finish with a higher seeding come tournament time. JMO!
