he had the most hits of anyone in the 1990's and, if ever there was a player who did not use steroids, its him:

Good clutch hitter too and a well above average defensive 1B.

One of my all-time favorite MLB players.

Canseco on Grace....

Blue, don't piss me off. Will Clark was twice the 1st baseman. I don't care how many hits or how great an interview he was. I'm trying to think of the defining moment of the Mark Grace Era but I'm coming up empty.

i was going to bring up will clark as well when i saw the start of this thread.
clark hands down was better than grace. too bad giants decided to keep robbie thompson instead of will clark. huge mistake.

i really dont think gracey should be in the hall...just making a point about steroids. here is a guy who was just a ballplayer. didnt even lift weights at all. a great hitter and good fielder. he is not a hall of famer.

journeyman is right...he and palmeiro were very similar when they came up. one decided to use steroids and hit 500 homeruns...the other didn't.

i'd take grace any day.

will clark was better when will was in his prime. grace was better longer.

Thought 'no way' when I read this title, but he may have a case, didn't know career stats were that good. Mattingly by comparison is a no=brainer so Grace at least gets consideration.

1146 RBIs should get any player in, regardless of his position. He will get in because everyone likes him as well as his numbers

Let me beat a dead horse here...
The first power hitter from the 80s/90s who should be inducted should be none other than the "Crime Dog" Fred McGriff.
