that was freakin crazy,, I really thought we were gonna lose it when the US got to our bullpen and quickly turned an 8-0 game to 8-6 in the 6th inning.. My heart was in my throat when Chase Utley nearly hit that 3 run shot to centerfield in the bottom of the 8th and somehow Stern pulled it down just shy of the wall... Not sure why the hell Al Leiter is on the US team,, just doesn't fit at all with the rest of those big names.. He was one of the big reasons why Canada jumped out to such a big lead.. Good to see Steve Nash in the crowd cheering on the boys with a big glass of beer,, must be nursing that ankle back to health..
