Not a explanation from them on what exactly happened. I guess Pinny believes their above explaining their own Mistakes to their own customers. I've lost alot of respect for them over this issue. I don't recognize Pinny's CS anymore

Chuck, we don't need to hear from you on this if all your input is going to be is Pinny Is #1

Gotta agree w/ RedEye here. I was one of the many who received the postcard which included my password. Wrote to Pinnacle requesting a simple explanation, and received not a word in return. No denial, no acceptance of guilt, NOTHING!

Plain and simple!!! Pinnacle took the attitude that, "we're No. 1, we're invincible, we're above needing to explain ourselves."

Apparantely, they are right, as the majority out here seemed to take a, "It's Pinnacle, get off their back" approach. I, for one, lost a ton of respect for this sportsbook, and I'm also just as comfortable playing with other top-ranked sportsbooks, so Pinny can kiss my ass.

The lack of CS response, and the "we're entitled to explanation-free mistakes" attitude turned me away. Had this been five years ago or so, I probably would have stuck with them. As it is, I'm comfortable moving all my business elsewhere.

Agree with you all, I got two postcards and have been playing at matchbook ever since. It's amazing that they have been able to get away with this without having to give an explanation. People who think this is no big deal probably didn't get a postcard from this place. My question is this: If you got a postcard in the mail with ur password on it in place of the name, wouldn't that be disconcerting and wouldn't you want an explanation?

I'll email my contact a link to this thread-I do know that they were aware of the original one.

Unfortunately unless I hear some sort of mea culpa from them I will probably not re-up with pinny next year as a result of this... Really pisses me off. Not to mention the fact that I have been getting these pre recorded tout calls at my home phone lately.

Has any person actually lost money because of this?

I have not heard of one person. So who cares.

Pinny messed up and they had everyone pick a new password.

If any accounts were disputed, I suspect the people got their money back. I have heard no legit complaints about anyone losing anything.

I doubt Pinny will be hurting for business. I have more trust in them than Bank of America

IODDS....No, I didn't lose a cent because of the postcard fiasco. No one did, and yes, I do trust Pinnacle in terms of financial security. Furthermore, you are correct in suggesting Pinnacle will not be hurting without my business. They've already proven such by ignoring my (and others) requests to comment on this issue.

Does that excuse Pinnacle for their behavior? I don't believe so, especially given the fact they are so highly regarded.

Fact is, I feel just as safe with my $$ at other shops. Again, Pinnacle's wrongdoing (whether purposeful or by neglect) shouldn't be shrugged off simply because no one lost money as a result. I agree, security of funds should be our main concern, but in no way should it be our ONLY concern.

Someone steals a bunch of Posters passwords and you don't give a s-it because it doesn't affect you ? Says a lot about you ! If you don't give a s-it... then why are you even wasting your time posting ?

If you don't care then why did you reply? Fuck I care that my info is floating out there somewhere but Pinny probably does fell like they are above replying to this so they pretty much have given you their reply in an indirect way.
