Reading Blue's thread made me think about something one of my freinds parents said to me right before graduating high school (1989).

It was " LIFE IS NO DRESS REHERSAL". Never have heard that before but I still (close to 20 years later, omg) think about it all the time!!!

If everyone lived life as if it was their last day (virtually impossible)..but, when you think about, you have nothing to lose by trying!

try to imagine being 85 years old, in your rocking chair, and wishing you had tried a few more things, then come back to the present and make it happen.

A lot of people are afraid to fail, the greatest baseball players fail 2/3's of the time.

When you really think about this, it does make sense, not trying in the first place is the only way you fail, it's a numbers game.

Ifn ya snooze ya loose, Ifn ya snore ya loose more.

The more you bet, then less you loose when you win.

Jack Buck......

"Thats a Winner!"

Brings me back to my youth in St. Louis

Wish I could go back in time to a beautiful summer evening in IOWA and be listening to the game before taking the field myself as a Twin Rivers Pirate or Ottosen Oriole ..........with Jack Buck and Mike Shannon on the call.

that is so true. One of my biggest weaknesses is that I don't like coming out of my comfort zone

I may get booed for this but when the Shrink left town, he posted a quote that I later found out is quite popular and thought it was sort of cool.

"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened" by Dr. Seuss :Sad Face: :thumbsup2:
