NCCA 2006 Champ futures... who you got?

i had 3 teams in mind: UCONN, TEXAS, AND NC

like the UCONN +292
love the TEXAS +1200
NC +900 ! was thinking that would of been getting much better value, so my plays are:

UCONN +292
TEXAS +1200

Fair value on Iowa is roughly 1,433-1

You have to buy when teams are down a little to get best odds. Mich St 60/1 now,You can't buy when teams are up and odds are low. Example Duke is a loser for me right now because you haven't been able to get odds on them all year. 5/1 at WTTS is all i have. Other extreme. People are just now getting on NC bandwagon because they are hot. This team just a short time ago was 100/1 or more.All teams have cycles and there are usually times when you can get a bargain. Start of season is most important because if ypou do your homework you can get teams like Uconn 16/1, Nova 18/1, Texas 18/1 Gonzaga 50/1, Memphis 50/1. All those were at start of season. But you wil have clunkers like Louisville and Kentucky at 30/1. If your short on a team during tournament there will be times to hedge a loser at the Half or in Game betting. Sum it up you have to think ahead most tof the time.

I put a small wager on BC at 40-1 because it looked like great value at the time, surprised that you can still get that now -- they are one of the few 2nd tier teams that have the personnel to bring down a fav or 2.

Dont really think theyll win it all, but I'm rooting for them anyway so why not.

100/1 on BC a couple of weeks ago in a Vegas Sportsbook
