I use them for that reason. Even though I am profiled as a dog player, I find some bargains there.

Pat, I like Cascade. But doubt if they deal overnights. Grande also, but no overnights.

Bodog's dime line is weak and breaks at -140. Also an underated book for baseball is Catalina which deals a TRUE dime line and has overnights.

BoDog does not have obernites. They are one of the last books to put out lines.

They profile players so if you play dogs, you get the cloned lines.

I tried them again recently, couldn't find much value to the lines, smooth no call bonus, fast pay, but I'll play elsewhere.

I am with Chuck. After being profiled twice, I cut them loose. They do not like winners in any form. There are MUCH better out there. LT:pucking:

I play mostly dogs and it's pretty rare I find a good line on Bodog. Even when they have -105 on the dog, I can usually find a better line on Pinnacle, Skybook, Cascade, or Mansion. It's far more common they have -115 on the side I want to bet.

Not sure who is really after bodog but if it is the US gov they are finished. I saw first hand what the feds did TO PARADISE CASINO. It was over before it started. they'll start by pressuring bodogs banks to give them info. then they will go after assets. not to mention there are phone records for every bet bodog has taken by phone.

Well said. May very well be the LAST up. But they Always seem to lean to the chalk. If you win there, they sure dont catter to you anymore.

Not sure who is really after bodog

The poker game incident at Calvin Ayre's residence is not about Bodog and there is no evidence that any foreign government is after Bodog. Speculation about some US governemnt vendetta is just that - speculation with no real basis in fact.

Thanks, wil..

I think so Kruser. As long as you can get the "real" lines then BoDog is a great out for dog players. As others have mentioned though it is fairly easy to get profiled based on your action and then fed the sharp lines which are of little use. Until that happens though I would surely recommend being funded there.

Other than what was mentioned only other downside is the lateness of their lines. They are SLOW putting them up. However overall I would recommend them while you can get the dog lines. Contrary to what is often said your money is safe and they pay very quickly. They also got a poker room with easy to beat limit games.

Yes, yes and yes

May I add, yes?? They are Joe friggin public as far as the lines go, 3 times out of 5 you'll find an extra .5-1 point on the dogs. You may lay an extra .05 but in the long run it's worth it.

I'm a relatively small player so I can't comment on how they treat big winners.

I can't comment on the poker nor can I comment on the sharp lines, but everything else said in that post I can attest to 100%. They are painfully slow putting up lines, but if you're betting the dogs it's worth it most of the time.

There are 2 types of people that really need and couldn't do without bodog. Canadians and sharps.

the only time I'll bet with bodog is with a late dog...sometimes you can find a football game at +7.5 -105, where most books have +7 with varying juice...there a good book to use as one of many books, not soley as your one book...you'll get to frustrated with the late lines and the full juice wagering...

I find that Bowman's is really nice for dogs, but I've heard they do the dual line thing as well. I do like to have them as an out, and I'll play there as long as they give me the free 1/2 point.
