I have been in a situation 3 times this week that someone I know that gambles a little bit tells me he doesn't trust offshore books and looks funny at me when I say I bet and get paid with out any problems.

I think we are in the minority here on this one guys. I think it is better than it was a few years back but I think most people are still afraid of the whole offshore industry. Most gamblers are still stuck in the "old days"

NO need to defend. Everyone knows that it is the know, knows that offshore has its place. Locals are required as well.

Why the hard on for bookmakers, they would give it up your ass as quick as you could say give me a prop price. Obviously your either a dope or, and my money's on, someone connected to bookmaking trying to say how thoughtful you are about losers.:drink:

relax pilgrim. If you have read any of my nearly 1,000 posts than you wouldn't make such a stupid statement.

My point is that ALOT of causual players are not involved in the offshore industry and for some reason think it is a big scam. Not a week goes by that I don't find myself involved in a discussion with someone about the offshore books and how beneficial they are to the player but for some odd reason people are scared to play there. I think the RX is a good thing for the industry, it adds creditability to it. But if you think for a minute that people aren't nervous (not me) about it than you need to get off your computer and get out in the real world and talk to some "real" human beings.

I understand what you are saying quite well. The casual player that you are referring to is the guy that makes about 1 bet a week, or the guy that plays the Final Four or the Stuip Bowl. Those kinds of floks always know someone that has a local or an offshore account an they usually just go through them. Happens to me ALL the time.

I live in Reno and everyone I talk to hear thinks offshore books are a scam...small-minded thinking really...I don't miss at all the days of running down to the book, going into a smoke-infested casino and dealing with some degenerate bet taker guy with one tooth who can't even get my wager correct...

To answer your question............Not nearly so much as in past months/years.

The OFFSHORE GAMING world is gaining huge acceptance in the UNITED STATES..............poker has been a huge plus for this.
