I think they should open up about 6 more spots.

Have 3 more play in games on that Tuesday to matchup some of these bubble teams against one another. What better way to see who wants it more. Not to mention these teams that barerly sneak in would also have it harder because they have to play an extra game if they want to get to the Final Four.

I think this would work.

Also adds more interesting matchups on that Tuesday instead of 2 wack teams playing each other.

For example Bubble teams who just got in or left out could face each other:

Tues we could have Air Force vs. Cincy

or Seton Hall vs. Florida St

Or Hofstra vs. Alabama

Always gonna be bubble teams that dont make it in. Add 6 more spots, then you go down the line more for teams that feel they deserve a spot in one of these extra play in games. Just adding more games wont solve that. Although it would be fun to watch, ill give you that.

Of course there is a cut off that will always upset some, but I think it puts more of the decision in the teams on the court to prove their worth .

I dont like how a Bubble team who sneaks in like Seton Hall has the same amount of games to play as a WVA who played better during the season.

I would say put the automatic bids in the field of 64 while bubble teams have to play the extra game still.
