First time post but long time lurker,

Recently recieved a call from Demarcos people. Placed a few bets on "free" games, results were decent. Now im being pressured to lay down a $5000 "retainer" for their services plus a cut of the winnings. I aint no sucker, but seriously, whats the deal with this? Ive done my homework on this guy and it doesnt seem like anyone likes him. I know hes a salesman, but he tots a great return (said last year that his $100 players made 11K), but come on!?!

Tried to get me to say down $1k on the Spurs game last night, but I didnt, thank god!

Very high pressure sales, slick talkers, etc etc.

Just curious to see what others say.

RUN!! And fast!! Don't do business for that kind of money that you can't see face to face or find their house.

Running away from them is my plan, without a doubt. Whats up with the "retainer" though? Ive never heard of that crap before.

Tell him he's a cockroach and you're not interested. Anytime he calls you up never let him run his mouth for more than ten or fifteen seconds before you hang up; be very rude. Sooner or later he'll stop calling.

A retainer, you dont say. Thats when they retain your money whether you win, lose or draw.
