Why does anyone like Xavier?

Did Xavier have injuries earlier in the year and now are healthy? I can't figure out how a team that finished in the mid to bottom of the mighty Atlantic 10 would be getting so much love. The only reason they are in the NCAA is that they had their conference tournament in their home city with a loyal fan base.

Gonzaga had a lot of close games in their conference but played a very tough non conference schedule and did well. They are not that happy with their seed and I see them handling Xavier easily.

Am I missing something, someone explain to me why Xavier will be in this game?

rowdy take a look at gonzaga's schedule. they had some close games against very weak teams such as san diego. i'm not saying i don't like gonzaga, but some people are worried that they might let down a bit. good luck to you, i like gonzaga as well

I ll give u one BIG reason that Gonzaga could lose to ANYONE. They Defend absolutlely NO ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They rely on their ability to outscore you and that's basically all there is. Personally think there one of the most overrated teams in the country. That style may fly in the bumble fuck conference there in out there, but come tournament time, you better be able to get stops............... and they cant!!!! The opening line says it all......... don't like the game, but wouldn't lay points with ZAGS this time of year to almost anyone GL

Gonzaga barely escaped numerous games at home.

Xavier is good.

Tony Mejia from CBS Sportsline has been awesome the last 2 years in his bracket picks. I think 2 years ago he had all four final four teams picked right and last year 3 of 4. I was surprised he picked the Zags but HE MUST NO SOMETHIN.

agree with Tony's skills but he is off base with that pick from what I saw of the Zags this year. I would like to know the number of games they covered this year. I am sure someone has that info. I really don't believe that they covered any of their last 4-5-6 games??

Maybe not Xavier maybe not SD St or Indiana but most definately UCLA

The ZAGS don't play defense, they may cover this game but if they can't beat a 10-16 shit team from their own conference by 6 points at home in the conference finals what would make you think they will beat a more talented Xavier team on a neutral floor by 6 or more?
