A VERY informed gambler, Krackman, told me once when i mentioned this book that they were garbage and to be avoided..

For a small player like me (50-100 range) they're great.

For larger players, I have no idea.

very simple book not much choices if you're parlay, teaser and reverse player.

I'll skip this book and move on

Pretty good book. I got some long odds on futures (NHL, NBA and NCAA tourney) from them; of course you have to compare. They pay fast.

Football teasers are good. 2 team 6 pointers at +100 if you mix a college pick. NBA 2 team 4 pointers at +100. -107 on NBA and NFL and offer a good number on baseball.

They are among the 5 books that I use.

Thanks, everybody. Might make a small deposit just enough to nab the 2 futures they have excellent prices on. Sounds like they are at least reliable enough to not sweat any payouts.

I've used them for a few years now and getting ready to reup for the tourney. Last night I finished 7th in their $1000 Monday freeroll. One great thing I like about them is that they switched to their casino software to the same as Bodog which I like very much. You can play VP there for the same nickles that Bodog offers. They do pay very fast with no BS and their customer service is excellent. If you like to bet against the public like I do, they have great lines.

Canbet had some value when college sports were -107. When they did away with 107 I left them. MUCH BETTER books available. LT

Canbet used to be one of the top books in the industry.....but have been far from that since they were bought by the old betaustralia.com
You never know what your limits are going to be....always seem low....only -107 on pro sports....many books i'd rather use. However, I would feel safe with funds there as they are regulated by the australian government....or at least I thought so...someone is saying England now....either way i'd feel safe there.

Canbet is licensed in the UK and the UK regulators are quite happy to let bookies go to the well although there has not been a bust now for about 2 years that I know of - since Netbetsports.

However, I believe it is still the case that Canbet is a 100% subsidiary of International All Sports, the Mark Read operation a.k.a Betaustralia. This is a pretty solid book and their regulator is Australian which requires all client funds to be in segregated escrow.

So it would be interesting to see whether the 2 concerned regulators would walk away from a Canbet bust in which IAS was seeking to wash its hands of making good client funds. But the chances of this happening are very remote, this is a safer place for your cash than any book based in the Carribean or Gibraltar other than the fully quoted PLC books which have servers in those locations.

One of the best. Recently moved operation to the UK and the service is the same. A+, never had a problem.

one of my favorite books. i don't know about high limits but for dime bets (or less) you'll be fine.

plus, they have free and fast neteller withdrawals and great customer service.

and now they have 10% reload bonuses for all neteller deposits made on thursdays. nice addition.

i've always loved canbet.

I deposited a small amount today and my first experience is not good. Wanted to bet HR prop on Travis Haffner at +5000(better than any other place I found ) which was a main reason I deposited. The most they would give me, and this on a season long prop, was $36! God, its my first bet there!
