that's something like betting a huge chalk on the ML in sports ? A game where you risk a lot to win a little, but win a high percentage.

I have two proposals

Add a no 7 line in craps. Player risks 6 chips to win one chip, betting next roll to not be a seven.

And, the anti-roulette wheel. Player uses $40 chips to win $1 by betting his number(s) don't hit.

Perfect for degenerate Vegans. Take the guy that has to pay his rent of $700, but only has $600, he could put it on the no 7 line, and likely get the other $100 !

I'm surprised they don't have something like this.

you could basically do that type of thing on roulette. Play roulette and cover 80% of the board.

They do on 5dimes.com its not exactly at no 0/00 bet but Red pays $1.09 and Black pays $1.09 so you bet on both and if it doesnt land on 0/00 you win 9 cents so your risking $1 to win 9 cents.

I think the no seven prop could catch on in craps, it should be lay 5 to win one ( no vig), so lay 6 to win one has a nice house edge.

Do you guys ever play the slot machines at the Vegas airport?

Is it just me, or do the odds really suck on those?

Never played there, but why do I have this feeling that if someone was betting this strategy the 0/00 would come up more than ususal?

I hate slots, but I thought you had to be 65+ to qualify for playing those slots.

Yeah. We just need the Pinnacle version of roulette. No 0/00. After black hits 7 times in a row, Red can be -165 becuase 'it's due' and Black can be +157. I can hear the complaints already "I dont see true odds roulette, thats crap. It's always lop sided juice"

In 2001, I played roulette online and got 70-1 odds on 0 and 7 for a 2 hour promotion. I hit it hard and won 1/2 the cost of my house.

A friend of mine does the cover 80% of the board in roulette strategy. We went to the casino the other day and he put $100 on 30 different numbers. He proceded to do it until he won $3000. I kept telling him to quit while he was ahead, but I doubt he will ever listen to me.

A friend of mine use to play the dozens in Roulette. He would bet two out of the three dozens. It's the same house edge so you still cannot win in the long run. But in any given spin you have a 60+% chance to profit.

DOUG 6 to 1 is dead even money. THAT IS NO VIG. The player would have to lay 7 to 1 or make it a lay and lay 120 to win 20 and pay a dollar when it hit. 6 sevens 36 combinations 6 to 1 TRUE odds.

BTW I dealt craps for over 12 years, currently doing the poker thing. But I like your thinking. If you can bet on any seven at 4 to 1 (5 and down) terrible odds ( as hop the sevens you get an extra unit 3 dollars pays 16 and down), you should be able to betg the opposite.

I guess you can bet all the number for various amounts to get about that payout 20 (buy) on the 4 and 10, 25 on the 5 and nine, 30 on the 6 and 8, and 35 in the field.

RISKING 150 + 35 = 185 to win about 35 around 5.5 to 1 (obviously changes if 2 or 12 roll etc.) I've tried many many many systems and seen MANY more. I have had some success with some too.

OOP's been out of dice a while obviously the field loses so a smaller field bet is made so the payout on the 6 and 8 cover that (netting a profit). But you kind of get the jist you win if a seven is not rolled but various amounts.

Isn't 6 for 1 even money, not 6:1 ?

A seven comes once every 6th roll, right !

If player started with $600, and bet it on the theoretical no 7 line, won his first 5 bets, and pulled the profit, he'd have $500, then a seven comes out next roll, he loses his $600 bet, and has $500 left ( he lost $100), the seven came out 1 time out of six.

Am I missing something ?

I never played much craps.

True Doug 5 to 1, your right been out of it for a small while. (5 non-sevens to a seven) his would be nice to see as bettors try that all the time on a small scale betting the way I mentioned but this would save all the work of setting up all that crap, many bettors go one hit and down, taking their profit.
