If I heard the song on the radio I probably wouldn't think anything of it, but I gotta say, I get pretty pumped whenever the Soprano's starts...

Another HBO show theme song...Entourage...but I'm a huge Jane's Addiction fan so that's probably just my own bias

The whistling tune of the Andy Griffith show has to be one of the classics.

Gilligan's Island has a memorable tune as well.

Hill Street Blues....WOW...that was a fine piece of music too... I forgot about that. If you'll remember the show's song was actually played quite a bit on the popular radio for a short while. tulsa

Rapper 'Mase' has a song that uses a sample from it. Good tune, good use of the sample.

Look, I agree that we must be snobs toward some of those and I say we start with The Beverly Hillbillies and include The Brady Bunch. However, you must agree that Gilligan's Island theme song certainly has to be considered in the running? Right?

I will say something cool that I always liked about the Beverly Hillbillies theme song was when in the middle of the tune the guy with 'smoking announcer voice' would say "The Beverly Hillbillies" and then the banjos would really kick into full swing. BUT, let us move away from this corner of the market to continue the metaphor that WCBias introduced. tulsa
