Before the Chicken in San Diego, there was the tuba man, pretty funny guy,
but for my money the Philly Phanatic is the man, intermingles with all ages
and even with the players.

the dartmouth mascot was a favorite among students, and they pushed to make him the actual mascot, but the administration wasn't having it

On a related note, I found this web site that lists all school mascots, even small schools. Did you know that Webster University in St. Louis, Mo has a mascot called The Gorlocks???

I took photography classes at Scottsdale Community College. They don't have community college mascots on that page so most of you may not know that they are The Artichokes.

Here's another school I went to. The mascot is called a Hardrocker. Can you imagine being a woman and being called a Lady Hardrocker??
