Now you tell me, has there ever been a better fighter than Mike Tyson in his prime? Absolutely not.

Better? Yes, tons of them, even in the heavyweight division. More intimidating and ferocious right after the initial bell? Probably not. Most fighters were scared shitless before they even entered the ring to fight Mike - that *was* a huge advantage for him.

Ali would have killed him inside of the first round.

No, Ali would've done the smart thing and avoid trading for the first couple of rounds, wait for Mike to tire down, and stop him around the 6th or 7th round. :thumbsup2:

So you guys have watched the classic Ali fights and the fights from this generation of Tyson and you actually think Ali would have stood a chance against Iron Mike in his early 20's? You're out of your mind. Ali would usually tire out after about the 5th round. He was so meticulous it's a wonder he ever knocked out anybody. He definitely wouldn't knock out Tyson.

You must be the guy that watches figure skating on ESPN during Monday Night Football.

What's on choptalk? Florida? Who cares? There are plenty of other sports going on right now like the Bay Hill. I could care less what Florida does. Good games are tonight and tomorrow.

Who are you anyway to criticize someone who hasn't thrown a blow at you first? I've done nothing but compliment you on this board. Classy.

Angle, Tyson fought morons his entire career...reminds me of Kramer in the Seinfeld episode where he is kicking ass in his karate class.....turnsout he was facing kids the whole time.

It wouldn't have mattered who Tyson fought. That jumping left hook has dismantled I don't know how many opponents. He probably didn't fight anyone better because they were scared.

What after Mike had come out of prison? Are you serious bro?

Go watch Foreman beat Frazier, then watch Ali beat Foreman.

All three would destroy Aluminum Mike and none would have ever lost to a journeyman (not our j-man) like Buster Douglas at the peak of his career.
