Well, I decided to go to Vegas, got in Monday night around 9:30pm, and hour later than schedule due to the window defrost on the plane. It took them 40 mins. to find the problem, and 2 mins. to fix.
Anyways, I am going to skip to the end real quick. I had to leave Tuesday night, my grandfather had a heart attack and passed this morning.* I missed Woof, Red Eye, and Kermit. I did hook up with Illni on Monday night.
Woof called me Monday night and left a message, he says he left his number on my cell, but I didn't hear it, and I listened to the message 4 times.Maybe he was half in the bag! LOL So, I had no way of contacting them, but did manage to get a hold of Illni before I left.
Illni got to the Hilton around 10:30pm or so, we had a few drinks, well, Illni polished off a bottle of Grey Goose, may have been two, who knows, the man can drink! After a little pick'em we headed over to the craps table. After digging myself into a 2K defecit, Illni gets the dice and pulls me even, and makes himself $500 while he's at it. We were working the crowd and table for sure, though the pit crew didn't enjoy it, but it was a good time.
After craps we took the limo over to Spearment Rhino. Nice looking girls, and Illni was explaining to me how to work the girls while not spending any money. Well, I listened to about 15 mins of it, and it made sense, but I got him two girls, he was reluctant at first, but settled in nicely:thumbsup2: .
The rest of the night we pretty much just hung out with those two and chatted with them. I still feel bad for Illni, the man drank a little too much I think, and go hustled by some hoe, needless to say he was pissed. I was semi-kicked out for falling asleep on the couch waiting for him, but later found him, and we headed back to the Hilton.
Illni crashes in one of the rooms I have. IN the morning, Illni is in bad shape, the man is funny, and cracks me up. But he had to get home for some rest to kick his killer head ache.
I killed sometime at the Hilton playing VP, and a little BJ. Then attempted to call Woof again, letting him know I was on my way to the IP around 330-4pm. No answer, so I head over, scope the SB out, looking for GD, but did see anyone. So I headed over to the Mirage, Woof is staying, and called again, no answer, left a message letting him know I would be playing BJ if he cared to join me, or meet up.
I played for a hour or so, headed back over to the IP, looked around, seen no one again, and called again, no answer. Shorly after my dad calls with the news on my grandfather. I had to cut my trip short and get home. At least I made it in time to see him one last time. Which was worth it for me.
So, in the end, it was a pretty good time for the short 36 hours or so I was in town. I was really looking forward to meeting Woof, I had tons of questions for him. Well, there is always August, I guess.
