Do any professional gamblers play money lines only in sports other than baseball?

I know the juice can be very expensive and it may only be worth it for playing underdogs. But anyone here only play games on the money line?

I used to bet moneylines but have learned not to. If you are betting a dog that you have capped to win SU, than go for it. I usually just play it safe and take the few points, just incase. Or if your only giving up -130 than maybe, but I know alot of people would not even give up that much juice. I would if I felt strong enough about a game, but anything above 130 is way too much. Just my opinion.

130 max is interesting. For Bases, I play a max 160 favorite.
Other sports not a clue.

I'm kinda new to betting on baseball, so I don't know what is exceptable for it. I guess everyone is going to have there own opinion. Is there any reason more juice is baseball is ok and not in basketball? I know you'd be shot and hung if you say your laying that much juice in a basketball game.

Pitching in baseball is what usually make s the line and some pitchers are worth the 160 lay. (Say after a month or so into the season for me anyway; after they've had a few starts)

you can't get in the habit of limiting yourself like that, such as, "i'll NEVER lay more than -160" or "i'll NEVER lay more than -180" etc.

because, trust me, the day WILL come eventually when there's a game with a line of -180 and you're own handicapping shows the game should be -280! that day may not come very often each season, but it'll happen every now and then.

don't set arbitrary rules for handicapping! just look for value, no matter where it lies.
