valdosta go home with that. Are you Viking? Game dominated by Illini but they had no shot. Refs decided the game...that's a fact

Ok valdosta but this one was a joke. 39 Wash free throws to 11 for Illinios. I'm pissed because I'm a fan of ILL and we got screwed.

I can't stand crying about the officials either. But anyone who saw this game has no choice but to ask what the fuck was that? Unbelieveable. Illini still almost won, even though they were not allowed to play defense, which is what keeps them in games. Fuck you refs.:pucking:

I had Washington and I agree that touch fouls were called on Illinois. Look at the disparity of fouls called. That speaks volumes.

I am a fan of the Big 10 (dislike Illinois though), but that's just me. I don't believe in crying about officiating. Regardless, it was a good game and Illinois came up a bit short. I predicted them to leave in the 2nd round. Although I certainly didn't call Iowa to leave in the first :( Big 10 is sucking this tourney. I also predicted no big 10 teams would make the final 4, hopefully Ohio State can make me wrong there.

I agree totally with Kornholio from a non-bias point of view.
28-9 in points for Washington in free-throws.
Pretty one-sided from that standpoint.

It's not the refs job to make sure both teams get the same amount of free throws.

I agree with your point of view most of the time. But you didn't see this game. Sickening.

Admittedly I didn't get to see the whole thing I guess because I live in the south. Just saw portions of it.

Those refs should be investigated and I was on the other side of the game. Washington should have lost that game by 10.

Not quite as bad as that Elite Eight game against Arizona (2001, I think) where like half of the team fouled out, but a pretty brutal way to end the season.

Too bad a few players from Illinois had a bad cold ...

... cause everytime they sneezed, they got called for a foul.

I watched the game. I don't have a clue what you guys are on about???? Sure there were lots of fouls but I don't recall thinking "Hm, that wasn't a foul" at any point. Each time Was player tried to drive to the hoop he had his hands slapped, he was being blocked, etc.
