If you have a big, dominant center that is both an offensive threat and defensive threat, you are a team to be reckoned with.

Bradley
Georgetown

are two teams that come to mind. They have a dominant inside presence. If you have that and can win the boards you have a great shot at winning.

George Mason does not really have that but they have 5 guys that can play. They play well as a team.

The teams that will move on in the next rounds will likely have proficient point guards as well and play good team defense.

One other thing that was really exposed in the first round was freshmen/sophmore backcourts. Kansas, NC, and Marquette all lost to teams with more experience.

Would we classify the Gators in that group?

Noah at 6-11, although isnt a big dominant center, is more in the Amare Stoudamire mold, in that hes an athletic big man that can run the floor. He's to be reckoned with on offense and defense, and their point guard Taurean Green was in the running for Player of the Year at one point this season.

It'll be fun to watch Noah go at it with Hibbert. Hibbert is big and dominant, but Noah is more athletic.

Don't forget Al Horford...that guy is a beast inside with some very polished post moves. Him and Noah are a terrific tandem down low, and both are athletic as fuck.

Also love how this Florida team has no egos, as compared to the past three years...one of the biggest reasons why I like them to advance to the Final Four.

Either way, the future looks bright in Gainesville.
