This really is an excellent futures play. They won 99 games last year.

They've replaced the Carl Everett/ lame Frank Thomas DH combo with Jim

Thome who averaged 47 homers the 4 yrs prior to last years injured season
Bobby Jenks will be closing all year.

They have 6 ......(6!!) quality starters

I really cant understand why its only 91.5. Althoug a bud just back from LV
said it was 94.5 at the hotel he stayed at

Best of luck.

First off...the White Sox bullpen is a mess, aside from Cotts.

Hermanson's back is shot...has already taken two epidurals.

The prodigy Jenks is a mess. Fastball is a straight line meatball, and he cannot break 94mph. Shoulder? Most likely...seeing as he has had problems in the past.

So if Cotts turns out to be the closer...that takes away from the rest of the pen. Especially from the LH side. Thornton, Lopez...Equal mediocrity. Logan is interesting...but has no track record.

Lineup looks good, but last year Guillen used that pen...and aside from frisbee Takatsu...he was not let down. Lets see what happens this year.
