All Mods,, Please Read This<

HI to all,,,
thanks for making the RX solid,,, I truley feel you guys have done a great job KEEPING the spirit alive here,,

I have a suggestion that may help the site,,,

instead of DELETING and WARNING PUBLICLY people,,,,

what if you were to DELETE (or NOT) the Inappropriate words or phrases,,,,, but EMAIL them with SUGGESTIONS to help thier experience be a better one here,,,

HERES the PRoblem,,, its honestly taken me 2-3 years to really LEARN about all the SECTIONS,,,, and honestly Im still not proficient in most,,lol,,,

anyway,,, my BELIEF is that if we had a better PROACTIVE group,,, that gave suggestions to NEWBIES,,, we would FOSTER a TIGHTER and MUCH MUCH more HARMONIOUS GROUP,,

I want this place to grow,, and I know this suggestion is a tall order,,, but will make a difference,,

I agree with you Tater. The mods have been letting too much go. Pretty soon this will be a porn site if they dont get it under control.

Ron while I agree at times things are let go a bit to far, mainly because all the mods can not be everywhere at all times

someone once told me this is not a church site
We can not OVERMODERATE ..that is not a good thing

We are all adults here ...and I know the mods do not let to many things go Or see all of them

Id Rather Undermoderate a bit then Overmoderate ..trust me when I say that road is not one that should be traveled

Tate, just so you know, we DO email posters and let them know why they were edited, and what they did wrong many times....I know Wil spends alot of time doing this.....

We also try to post what was wrong when we edit, like asking them to stop bashing in the sports forums, etc......

Posters can HELP TOO......there is no reason to put profanity in the title of a thread, at all.......what is the point?

Title your thread, to what its about, but you dont have to use fu**, or pu***, or other words in the title......we really try not to do much about those words inside the threads, cuz like we said, this isnt a church site...but posters can help by refraining from using them in titles.....

I do agree, that "sometimes" posters disobey the rules, simply by not understanding them, or thinking about them....but the vast majority of our edits, are simply people "trying to get a rise" out of someone, and they KNOW what they are doing.....but still, we often email them, asking them to refrain from bashing, or to please keep their promotions in the correct forum......this just isnt posted on the forum, so you werent aware of it...

But thanks for the advice, we can ALWAYS get better...:thumbsup2:

I didnt know you emailed also,,,,, that was my only suggestion in being more proactive,,,

and I agree 1000% its better to UNDER edit than to OVER EDIT,,,,,,,, tottalllly agree,,
