Which one was from Texas? I just drove it, because I had not done it before, and wanted to see how long of a drive it was.

Thought you said you weren't that drunk on Monday night? If you can't remember which one it was, you were in the bag brother:drink:

You talked about her Tuesday morning, so you must remember.

Just wait until the entire valley is filled in from mountain to mountain. Should be very interesting getting around whether it be by freeway or the city streets.

I was lit up pretty good. But not to the point of blacking out or anything. I take it the adorable girl on my right was the one from Texas? The other one was just a skank, so I'm sure I wouldn't have been talking about her being hot or anything.

Illini...does the 70 miles include taking the 15 back down to the 95 from where the 215 ends up north? Or is that just from Henderson to the 215/15 interchange on the north. It sure doesn't seem that far but I take your word on it...

The 215 gets somewhat scenic on the west end from Sahara up through the north end, especially with the snow on the mountains. I have to get back out to red rock nat'l park, I bet that place looks incredible after a good snow.

215 at Flamingo north into Summerlin to 15 S to 515 to 215 to Rainbow. 70 freaking miles. Your are right about it being scenic up in Summerlin. It's colder too, cause I no longer needed my A/C when I was up there. I like Summerlin much better than Henderson.

It's pretty cool to look down at the valley from the top of Summerlin and see just how big it is. You can see the Strip, but it's just a small part of the huge valley.

You're starting to sound like a regular Vegas veteran now. Is it me or are you becoming more hardcore these days?

I love Vegas, but I'm not sure how happy I am living here. I'm actually contemplating taking a different sales job back home right now. Unless you want to buy a huge timeshare package so I can pay my bills. :103631605

Currently own a share in the Hilton Grand Vacation Club at The Flamingo that I purchased in 1996. Unfortunately, that would only cover your bills for a week.

Well, my buddy sold a $100,000 package and made 15 grand in two hours. Would love for a whale to show up like that. Tough business to meet someone, spend two hours with them, and then ask them for $20K. I'm looking at long-term care, which is an absolute necessity for anyone retiring with assets. It's a no-brainer purchase, and there is a new baby-boomer retiring every 30 seconds. I shunned an offer to head out here, but they told me I'd be back and working for them in no time. Just might happen. I took a leave over the weekend from work, and I'm not sure if I should just get out of town, or give it some more time. Sure seems like a harder sale, and I don't have the conviction about timeshares that I do about long-term care. One is a luxury, one is an absolute need.

I'm one of those baby boomers and preparing for long term care is essential. We are all living longer these days and many, many end up with long term health care needs just through aging. Assisted living, nursing care, home care are very much a part of our future whether we like to think about it or not. Exploding field.
