How effective would this be?

Pick a team that's good. For example: the yankes.

Play the moneyline on every yankee game. If it loses double up plus some on the next game and do so until you win.

That would be aboslute suicide. After losing the first game, you would have to start betting an amount well over your unit size since the Yanks are usually -200 or better. Additionally, I guarantee they will go on at least one losing streak of 5 or greater (this is baseball), which could take a huge chunk from your bankroll, if not your whole thing if your doubling.

you picked the one team that you would get killed doing that. Never do something like that with a public team with inflated juice.
I dont suggest doing what you are saying on any team But if you insist on doing something like that you would be better off taking a team like the BREWERS or BALTIMORE. At least with those 2 teams you wont be laying heavy chalk every night.

Let me give you an example.

Last year the Yankees got swept in a 4 game series against tampa. All the lines were between -260 to -330!!!!!!! Tampa won all 4 games. If you would have used your system you would have lost over 50 units just on those 4 games!!!!!!

Tampa Bay is an awesome team against yankees year after year. Tampa is almost always a huge underdog, even if they win only once out of 4 games, you would probably break even.

Texas ranger at home against Yankees is also one of those situation.
