I tried to sign up with them like 6 months ago, they closed my account immediately saying they couldn't verify my identity. Since then, I've found sportsbooks that allowed me to use other methods to deposit and withdraw.

Now I want to deposit with Wagerweb and figure I'll give neteller another shot. I sign up again with a new email address, same thing happens. I call them to see whats up, give them my full social security number. They apologize and say its just because I'm so young (19) that I don't have much history so they are having problems verifying me. They say to send in copies of my License and SS card. Thats a huge hassle for me but I get it done.

They send me an email saying I just need to call them and everything will be fine. I call and they start asking all kinds of questions like phone numbers, security question, name, etc. Finally they say they need me to send in a copy of my home phone bill. Well, I live in a dorm and don't get a phone bill for that. I say my primary phone # is my cell, so they ask me to send them a phone bill for that. Well, that goes to my house which is a couple hours away and I can't get that for some time, if ever because my parents take care of it and I don't even know if my name shows up on it.

Why the hell do they need all of this? I sent them a copy of my license and social security card, front and back! I just want to find a damn way to deposit to sportsbook! Why is it so freaking hard? Only thing I can think to send them now is a cable bill. I don't even know if that would help any.

Thanks for listening to me vent. I'm extremely frustrated.

I know that it sucks, but they have to protect themselves from fraud.

In the end, it's all for your own protection.

Address, phone number, copy of drivers license, copy of social security card, answering my security question, birthday, name, etc isnt enough?

This is my experience at Wagerweb trying to deposit:
Neteller - Obviously not an option
Neteller Instacash - Nope
Moneybookers - They say they can't verify my credit card, and I'm not going to do a bankwire because I'm nowhere near my bank
Citadel - Tried to sign up but same thing, couldnt verify me
Bank Wire - No
Credit Card - Too much of a hassle
Instadebit - Only thing that works but $75 a week is not enough right now
WU - No, they hassled me the one time I called and couldnt do it because I'm currently away from my permanent address
Moneygram - No
Solid Pay - They want copies of my credit card, etc. Not doing that
900 pay - I dont get my phone bill
ewallet - have to be 21
cashiers check - I'm not near my bank

Wow I am so screwed apparently

marry some girl in your dorm thats 21 and then have her open an account in her name and then you can play through her accounts. Shouldn't be too difficult.

PS- neteller is a very good company. When you finally do open an account through them you will no longer complain.

I am 20 years old and have had a Neteller account for at least a year. Never had to provide much information. I haven't used it in months, but it still works fine. I guess Neteller has gotten tougher with new customers.

Not a good idea to be putting your soc sec # and drivers license # online anyhow.

Find another way to fund offshore accounts.

i trust giving my SS to neteller than i do giving my SS to some flunky receptionist at my doctors office. I cringe everytime i do that.

I know someone that runs hospitals and he has had to fire a few workers for stealing patients SS numbers. Its a very common occurence.

Neteller has recently tightened their security procedures.

Trust me-there is a reason for it, and it's for your own good when it comes payout time.

nobody should be gambling away money while in college...bad enough all the debt the 'avg' student gets themselves into. If you have thousand bucks you want to neteller somewhere...put it in an Roth IRA right now and do it every year for the next 40. That 40 grand will be worth 6 to 7 times that amount (280 thousand)....way more than you would've ever made wagering with a thousand bucks a year.

And what happens if I prefer living my life before I'm 30 and not after I'm 55?

Definetely don't do this (especially if she's hot) !!! You'll have much bigger problems in your life than neteller deposits :drink:

Either use Western Union CASH for $900 + fees of $65 and no ID is required or find a local bookmaker.

You don't put any information online (drivers license; phone numbers; etc.) You fax this information to them. :smoking:

OK I sent them a copy of my online phone bill about 5 hours ago, still no response. VERY frustrating. Spent two whole days on this mess.

My friend, by now I would of said "HELL WITH THEM".

Find yourself another option to make deposits and withdrawals.

Try using 5 dimes w/ the moneygram option. You can send 500 for only 5.95 and its a quick pay which mean you are sending $$ to a company and not to a person..takes about 15 min to hit the account. I never have used Neteller and never will!!!!
