Actually, a damn good question. I don't recall any die-hard Dukies at the RX, either. Bunch of freaking Hawkeye fans, though :drink:

I am a huge Kentucky fan. I was at the Duke /UK game when Laetner hit the shot. (That was the lowest point in my sports life). I must admit ALL of the Duke fans were complete class acts that night. That said. I still HATE Duke.

Yep, Coach K even came over to Cawood Ledford as he was signing off on the Cats radio telecast (This was Ledford's last game after a marvelolus career), and Coach K was 100 % class.

Still can't watch that game from start to finish, though it was probably the greatest I'd ever seen.

Good times had by all...although Iowa fans far outnumbered them and then ruined their 2 minutes of cheering!!

It was without a doubt the greatest game ever played. If the refs had any balls the would have called a technical fould on Laetner in the first half when he stomped on Aminu Timberlake. But Duke is Duke and they were'nt about to throw the Player of the Year out of a regional Final. If you notice EVERYONE now guards the passer on the inbound pass at the end of a game in a situation like that.

Heard the comment tonight that the #1 seeds are 16-5 when they get to the round of 16 and Duke has 4 of those 5 losses. Vastly overrated team year in and year out. Don't get me started on the help from the black and whites they routinely play with.

That must be since 2000 or something. espn.com has it at 58-14. Duke still had a huge portion of those

Congratulations to Duke fans on being as good as my beloved WV this year in hoops. WV was actually 13th in this year's tourney and Duke was 16th. That's the way I like to look at it

why? Your team is better than the illini...actually just stole a kid from Bruce Weber's brother's team....How can Bruce Weber not get a recruit from a HS in IL that his brother coaches?!!!:monsters-
