You determine your units from your bankroll, not the other way around. . so your question doesn't really make sense

Most normal bankrolls are divided into 100 units

If you want to be betting $100 a unit this season then you will need AT THE LEAST $10,000

If you follow the best cappers here, 50 units should be enough to start with.

Once again.. . You can't decide how many UNITS you need. Your units should be 100 in most cases - in my opinion. Choptalk and Bucsfan use a 1-3 unit scale and I believe CT might have an occasional 5 unit play but I am not sure. So if you follow these guys then you should use 1% of your bankroll for each unit.

Doesn't that make sense?

100% right. That's the only way to make money sports betting. Following a strict money management guideline is key, especially in baseball where it's a long season and you're it in for the grind. It's not unusual to start off being down units, especially if you're playing dogs. But if you keep with it, over time those dog money wins add up and put you in positive units even with a sub-par W/L record. So stick to the money management suggested in the quote and you'll be fine.
