I know that most offshore sportsbooks claim they do not release information to any government, etc. I hope this is true.

I would like to know if anyone has experienced the contrary. For example, let's say you keep $5,000 parked in an offshore account such as Pinnacle and for whatever reason (divorce, bankruptcy, IRS matters, etc) you would like to keep it discreet for a few months

Unless you make a withdrawal and send up a red flag is it safe to assume that the account balance information will not be released by the foreign based sportsbook ?

i can't ever see a sportsbook releasing your info to anyone....

but....ANY paper trail can easily be traced back there. you may not have done any withdrawals recently...but if there is ANYTHING in the past, even years ago, that left a paper trail, it could be found.

make sure you check ALL your credit card statements, bank statements, etc. (going back years even) to see if there's ANY paper trail left behind.

good luck!
