I say last second field goal. Guy hasn't really been involved much in the heat of the game and everything is riding on his kick. Seems like their is almost always a timeout before this, to ice them.

down 2 points on the road and having to make 2 free throws with the stadium vibrating and thunder sticks in the background.

With that being said the most pressure moment in the history of sports was when Viniteri kicked that 48 yard field goal on the driving snow and wind to beat Oakland. That was the greatest kick in the history of football.

When you get thru writting your book, make sure I get an autographed copy.

While I agree that it was the greatest kick, that one actually TIED it.

The one that won it was shorter.

:lolBIG: . If you keep up your baseball numbers (and I'm sure you will), I will dedicate a chapter to you on baseball capping.

Seriously, I work by my desk(paperwork) at nite and just refresh the computer at the rx. Helps get me through the nite. That and betting!!!:thumbsup2:

Most pressure packed:

Penalty shots in the Olympics and the World Cup.

Reason:

There is no NEXT YEAR. You have to wait 4 stinkin' years to get another chance ... and if you're Columbian, you might get killed if you miss.

i know you guys will laugh at this but I honestly feel like the womens figure skating long program has more pressure than anything.

They are at the absolute edge of what they can physically do and everything rides on a couple huge jumps.

the 10 foot putt on Sunday on the 18th hole of the masters with the green jacket on the line and Tiger Woods staring over your shoulder.

Pressure is greater when you have to wait longer to get another chance.

What is the pressure in golf or tennis or NASCAR? You lose this week, you play again next week.

If it's anything where you have to wait 4 years (like trytrytry's skating) then the pressure is huge.

Baseball is the most presure packed for me.
Being down a run with the tieing run at 2nd or 3rd base with 2 outs, needing this run to send the total over and give the Doggie a chance to WIN !

Totally agree. Odds of scoring on a penalty kick are similar to making a foul shot, but way more pressure on you from your fanatical country if you miss. Nobody kills any NBA players. Other than during drug deals I mean.

I believe that the most pressure is on any Olympic athlete...they are not
getting paid and they perform once every four years. Any pro athlete can do whatever but still makes the green.

ROTFLMFO Now you have resorted to name calling.....and getting by with it might add!!

I would never resort to such a low as that. Besides its becomeing more difficult each and every night to see which threads you "didnt" start.
But BOL to ya anyway, as you will surely require it, an more.

Insiders,

To a neutral observer, you're acting kinda childish.

Not worth it, in my opinion.
