I think The Fab Five was later than 1989...Michigan led by Rumeal Robinson and Glenn Rice was around 1988-89 over Seton Hall

That doesn't seem too long ago.
Besides that timeout by Webber-the only thing I remember about that team was how good their Nikes were. They always had the best shoes-Air Maestro was a classic!

Ga Tech inbounding the ball w/0.8 sec left against USC and (i think) James Forrest hit the shot at the buzzer to send George Raveling saying, "Holy Mackerel, Holy Mackerel"

Bryce Drew hitting the trey at the buzzer to beat Ole Miss 70-69 and knock out the Rebels - who i had going to the F4 that year

for me - TWICE in bracket pool contests the team i had winning it all LOST THEIR OPENING GAME. hard to win the pool when that happens :lolBIG:

1990 - Bo Kimble shooting his first FT left handed in memory of the late Hank Gathers

Derrick Wittenberg tossing up an air ball from the parking lot but Lorenzo Charles slamming it home basically at the buzzer to give NC State the 1983 title and then Jim Valvano looking for someone to hug andfinding NO ONE

I was at the Kentucky/ Duke game. A buddy of mine along with me and my wife (girl friend at the time) left Milwaukee on Friday night. We drove strait thru to Philly. Had my heart ripped out in the greatest game ever played. Left Philly early Sunday morning. Got back to Milwaukee late Sunday night. Then I had to drive my wife to Madison (another two hours). Slept for three hours and then had to drive another two hours back to Milwaukee to go to work the next day. I was a complete wreck.
What a game. Too bad my Cats':cryingcry lost.
