A few months ago I sent nine.com $99 for their 100% bonus special. I ended up cashing out twice for 200 as i am a small bettor most of the year (except baseball). I wanted to send a couple hundred somewhere this today to bet the baskets this weekend and thought I would give nine.com a call. I wasnt sure if I was eligible for a bonus since I had cashed out more than I sent.

Well... to my suprise they said if I sent $250 they would give me $129 bonus with only a five times roll over before cashing out. How could I say no????

I asked if I told my friends if they would also be eligible and they said sure. 250 will get you $379 their account. I'm no shill, but for a small player this is a sweet deal. Especially when I found out that the bets I made tonight I got a free 1/2 point.

Just thought I would pass on the good news.

Sticky Bonus?

"10% free cash is only given to those members whose total accumulated wager balance is a negative figure."

Taken from Nine's Bonus rules. So, how can you take out bonus money if you're ahead?

I think the sticky rule applies to reups. They do not want someone reupping already winning and collecting another bonus. I actually got a 20% new signup bonus. Was a smaller rollover. I have a couple of questions.

Bet Approval. Sometimes it takes two minutes to get a bet approved. Very strange when the industry standards is seconds. Does everyone have this?

Horse wagers are supposed to be a nick, WPS, but even at Majors, Santa Anita, I get 2 dollars.

Those are just nits so no biggie, but if anyone knows answers it would help. All else OK so far. The free half on Friday is good on one game only, for $200. That is a crumb.

Frog,

if you are just getting a 2 minute delay, you should be happy. Most of the time thye just take away your online wagering privleges and make you call. Then when you call, it takes at leats 2m minutes to egt a line. The line they give you is never the line being displayed, and then it takes anohter minute or two to get a confirmation. Oh, and if you call to often and don't take the lines they give you, they will close your account.

The book is a total joke. It's great for a true sqaure player, but almost any book is good for a square. DOn't know of a single person who best more than $300 a game who is the least bit intelligent when it comes to betting, that has had a good experience with them

:howdy: Well that is not exactly a Rosy picture. Why did not anyone else mention that instead of how great they are? Any mods endorse them in this thread. Well, too late now, I am already in. I thought they had a banner here, is it gone also?

Frog..

The Banner is still up there - it flashes so you can miss it - right above BetJamaica.

As far as mods go -- does anyone take us seriously when we endorse an advertiser book?

Thanks wil, I was getting a BCN flashback. And believe it or not, when you or one of the mods says something about a book, I expect them to be honest. Are my expectations too high? Like I said, I have only had these two minor issues, and it is just different from most. I always prefer to try these places on my own. But on the flip side, whenever a newbie reads a mod's endorsement, I would expect that mod to stand behind his words.

Whenever Homer Newbie asks about a new book, we tell him to ask around. Whenever a newbie staggers into a bad book, we say you should have asked around. Should that be amended to you should have asked anyone but a mod?

Frog - 'Sticky Bonus' - You Were Correct

I just had a 'live' chat with nine.com and the bonus on one's initial deposit is yours to keep once you meet rollover requirements + 30 days, win or lose. The restriction: "10% free cash is only given to those members whose total accumulated wager balance is a negative figure" does NOT apply to the initial deposit.

Per 'Frank' at Live Person, "If you receive a bonus and reach the rollover requirement you can withdraw the full balance. In order to receive a bonus you must be at a negative figure, with the exception of the initial deposit because there is no previous action."

Sorry I made the accusation, but I hate books that want only losers.

:howdy: Dog, you did not accuse anybody. You open close 40/50 books you see all of the loopholes and hoops you have to jump through. Actually I have abused this on the flip side, initial deposit, win, redeposit for bonus, keep winning. Get booted. Las Palmas was one. Just kept collecting bonuses and winning, never had a negative figure. Always good to float those fine print rules out there so people can see what exactly they are getting into. Thanks for asking.

No, 30 days is actually in the low range. Have seen 60 and 90.

With more and more books like nine being sold to european intrest get used to the shoody treatment. Its just a revenue stream to them. They
could care less about the american market. They make plenty with the eurosports. Worse yet most of the companies buying are connected to many in Australia. This moves things further away to people who care even less. My advice start investing in the betting exchanges overseas
as thats is where the action is going.

FYI:
Gota call from a rep at nine.com. I opened and account at parlaybook a year ago and never deposited there. And now I get a call telling me bout the $99 dollar offer. The rep said there is ony a 5x rollover and no 30 day hold. Dont think I will play there but find it strange that we get diff. restrictions
