Question for everyone...
Let's say you bet on Team A, laying 2.5 points. Team A is up by 2 with 9 seconds left in the game, and going to the line for 2 shots. While watching the game, do you hope that:
A.) Team A makes 1 out of 2 (to go up by 3); or
B.) Team A makes both free throws (to go up by 4)
Personally, I would choose A. If up by only 3, Team A will show a little more urgency on defense and try to stop the 3-pointer. Worst case scenario would be OT. But if up by 4, Team A will be playing loosely, so as not to foul. Then, Team B gets an "easy" 3-pointer. At this point in time, there may not be time left to foul. If there is a foul, Team A needs to hit both free throws.
