OK.....How can I best explain this....?

I Bet alot of "small" Soccer Parlays.

Why is it that.............if there is a TIE(0-0, 1-1, 2-2) and I Bet THE ML, it is counted as a LOSS!?!?! I feel like this should be a PUSH/CANCEL!

I always Bet The ML in Soccer, due to the fact that many end in a Tie!
Yet, like yesterday I had a 6 Team Parlay...Hit 5, the other one was a Tie...Yet I LOST! I thought it would be a PUSH/CANCEL, and become a 5 Teamer.

Am I totally wrong, and off base here, or do I need to call "The Book" and get some answers???

Thanks..MR. NW:icon_conf

Dub..................

Yes...True.....!

I just felt....like in any sport....a ML N=Bet That Ties...should be a Cancel, but I guess....Other Sports, unlike Soccer, don't give you The TIE, as an Option.

I Gotta Quit w/ This Soccer B.S.

Looking back....I Have Lost 6 Parlays This Week Due To ONE Tie in each Parlay. Only $60, b/c I only Bet $10 Per Parlay...but they had some Nice Payouts.
(3)10 on 6
10 on 5
10 on 8
10 on 9

Thanks DUB---Makes Sense!

standard betting in soccker is three way betting mr N.

you bet on team A, team B, or DRAW..... if you bet on three way betting you can get better odds, but lose in the case of a DRAW.

now there is also the ASIAN handicap or Two Way Betting where they may introduce a 1/2 goal like in hockey or they may not include the option for a draw... you would get the push if you bet that style but your odds would be much lower.....

if there are three sets of odds, including draw, then you are betting on 3 way betting....

If there was no line on the draw in your bet, then it would be a push.
some books will call the three way bet "money line" to differentiate from the Asian line. (I think Pinny does that)
5dimes will list for example on some major soccer leagues, each team + or - minus 1\2 goal, sometimes more if prohib fav. They will also list a two-way money line in which a draw is a push.

I find the pain in the ass that occurs in soccer is when a match is suspended either during play or before kickoff then will reschedule. Each books have diff rules & reg's for that and ties up the cash. Also the "extra time" has been known to center for many a dispute

I bet the draw line in hockey ALL OF THE TIME!!! I usually take 2 draws in a parlay that are both +240 and it pays about 12 to 1.

Newlywed, you need to ask your book for the "puck" line of -1/2 or +1/2. They all offer this type of line but you usually have to phone in your bets to get those type of lines.

At my main sportsbook if I want to bet the puck line in hockey then I have to call them and place the bet over the phone since I only show moneylines in my account online

at 5 dimes I once made an all draw 8 team parlay $5 for over $1,000,000
was just fun to see that number. it was some draws in the World Cup soccer. and no it did not win!

I definitely win those draw parlays more than I lose them, but it gets a little boring betting on something that is being played while I am asleep. And at 2 books, they limited by soccer action aftere quite a few $96 two team draw parlays hit
