Does anyone have any idea if you win a WSOP package on Party Poker if their is a cash option instead of the package? I just recently qualified online but I am curious about my options? If anyone has any thoughts on Party Pokers dealings with this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

I've never heard of a Party tournament package that could be transferred or redeemed for cash. In case I'm wrong, you could find out for sure by calling them and asking. Good luck at the WSOP.

definitely cannot get cash instead and definitely cannot transfer it. Once you win an entry into the WSOP you either play or forfeit the seat. They are very strict about this rule from what i have seen.

I am over 21, problem is I have a conflict with the dates of the WSOP, was unaware it was at the time it is. Last year I believe it was early to mid july and now it is late july to early august. I won the entry but have to do a lot of work to get there, with the conflict in my schedule, but I will make do. Thanks for answering my post I appreciate it gentleman.

I hope he isn't under 21
I hope he wasn't playing on his girlfriend's account. Either he better look good in a dress or he better teach her how to play.:missingte

I really wasn't trying to accuse him of anything. It just came into my mind cause two years ago this 18 year kid won a WSOP seat thru some web site and then bitched because he a) couldn't play in the WSOP cause of his age and b) he couldn't sell the seat. Everyone had a field day with that kid on that forum.

I won through Party last year, and after enquiring, I am certain that you cannot take cash or transfer your seat to another person. You go or the seat is gone. The only exception is if you win more than one seat than there is the option to take a cash equivalent.
