I quit playing online poker a few months ago, not because I think its rigged, simply because I want to be able to read peoples body language.
So I went to Baton Rouge on Saturday to play in some 2-5 nolimit.
I believe in giving tips, but I noticed that the tipping at this place got way out of hand. Every single time someone won a bet, no matter how small it was, even if it was just stealing the blinds. It seems like this casino had an unwritten rule that you had to tip the dealer.
If you won a hand where you only won $7(just winning the blinds) and you did not give the dealer at least $1 people looked at you funny.
Now once again I believe in tipping, but winning the blinds with a Jack 9 offsuit with a bluff IMO does not warrent giving the dealer a tip.
Deal me a fullHouse and I will make it more than worth your while, but if you have to give someone money everytime you win im out of there!!!!!
Am I cheep? I tip 25% to 40% when I go out to eat etc....... Not trying to get out of paying people but tipping for every winning hand is a joke.
