What Books do You Recommend?

Just need a little input from the board. I currently use Pinnacle as my main book. Everynow and then I will use Matchbook, but I have noticed that successful bettors tend to use 5-7 books. Which makes sense when it comes to getting the best line. I have loked at Olympic & CRIS so far and even though I am not crazy about (-110), if I am able to get a better line, then I will pay it. For thos eyou use Olympic and/or CRIS, would you recommend it and why do you like them? Pinnacle I know is a good book for MLB, as MLB season is about to start up, but are there other books that offer 8-10 cent lines like Pinnacle does?

Ok I know Mansion offers an exchange, does Cascade as well?

I use all three and the reason you need to add these two to your outs is that often times the -110 is better then the -111 or higher Pinnacle will hang on the same game. Sometimes you get a better price at Olympic and CRIS then Pinnacle, particularly if you play second halves in hoops.

For bases forget those two, try Mansion, Hollywood, 5 Dimes,Cascade, Wagerweb,SIA, WSEX,Grande, ABC Islands...

Cascade is not an exchange. Main thing I like is they both pay, both have reduced juice.

oldmanTED, I really agree with what you said. For Hoops there have been so many plays where their juice is (-111) or higher. I knwo I will be playing Hoops deep into the Playoffs, this is the reason I am looking for other books to add.

Alot of books you list Doug, out of those are there any you recommend over the others. Not really sure where to go 1st.

Mansion for the free daily NT, forgot Jamaicaa also, depends on how often you move money,and other things. 5 Dimes if you bet overnite lines is a must.

Try Trojan for those H2 hoops plays, they stay at -105 almost always.

Yes, it varies between 28 and 31, depending on how many days there are in the month.

Cris ( For everything except baseball)

I hear that Cascade is going to be dealing the dime line this spring with a high breaking point.
Hollywood has Always been pretty good for most everything.
Oly is always right up there in most things as well.

Sleepy Locals are Always a Must too !! No matter how big or small they are!

If you bet overnights 5dimes is a must, if you don't? not much value
If I only had 5 books for baseball and I am betting no more then $500 a game?
Pinnacle
SIA($200 max bet on totals, unless they change this year)
Hollywood- don't mind giving unique line
Cascade- reduced juice
The last one is a tossup

WWTS - except they were bought out so not sure they will give you much value- based on what I have seen in other sports probably not.

5dimes - for reason given above.
Jazz- if you like betting 1/2 games

Me personally I would take Jazz, only because I bet 1/2 games and I don't bet overnights.

Santo's , your right it is not the 1/2 games I bet a lot at Jazz it was the run/hitts/errors totals I found value.
