These two sites seem very much the same. What is their affiliation with each other, is it just a software issue or more? If I have an account at one and sign up for the other, will I get the bonus? Will my friend get a bonus for referring me in this situation? Any input is much appreciated.

They are different books. Sportsbook.com has many sites that are basically identical but sportsbetting.com is not one of them.

sportsbetting/sportsbook.com

Here's some more history on the 2 books...

Sportsbetting and Sportsbook used to be owned by 2 seperate owners and still are but...

Both books used (and still use) the SAME sportsbook software from Worldgaming. A few months ago, Worldgaming bought sportsbetting.com from the site owner and are now running the site themselves thru a company called ScoreCardMedia which they recently set up in London.
