MLB playoffs are a crap shoot...any team can get hot and win the World Series...ie BOSTON RED SOX!!

With the current setup of the team, Cards are a perinneal playoff squad, just hope they don't end up like the Braves and fall short every year (except '95)

After the last two years of disappointment, Id be happy with one WS Title at this point

1994 was the strike year, and there was no World Series. Braves won it all in '95, and it was legit.

Shortened by how many games? I don't think it makes their title illegitimate now, does it?

What has been the Braves strength over the years may I ask you?

Starting pitching!

Playing less than 130 games(think they played around 120 reg. season games in 95) may have been a nice edge for the Braves pitchers in that they had fresher arms in the playoffs.

Food for thought.

Don't know the answer, nor does anyone else...............thus, incomplete.

I would have thought of it another way. Since the Braves cruise through the regular season every year, what difference does it make? They played more than 130 games, didn't they? Either way, I don't like the Braves, so it makes no difference to me.

They played a 144 game schedule in 1995..........so fairly close to a complete year.

Just busting BRAVES fans chops more than anything.
