Anyone want to play in a league game this evening? My work team is short a few guys tonight and we could use one or two more players...

Game is at 7:30 at Waverly Oaks (off 128)....who is up for it?

I am the oldest player on our team (30) but the league has players of all ages....and we usually lose anyway. You will get lots of PT since we only have 4 or 5 max at this point.

I live really close to there, but sorry I can't make it. Hope it ends up going alright.

I work pretty close to there also. I'm at Exit 22 next to the Riverside T station.

I'd be out of breath before the game started.

coulda' used you big balla. we did get a 5th and pulled out the W but I was struggling...you have no idea how bad this one dude smelled...i am not kidding a bit either...I only had to guard him on switches but my buddy who had him primarily had his funk rubbed off and him and brought it back during a timeout...

Glad to hear you pulled out the win. I was going to send Nuzio and Ty Webb over to help but sounds like you made out alright.

I know they have a bar there. Can I coach (Hoosier's Dennis Harper did a nice job).

You know your gym bars j-saul. I have to say it is the first gym I have been to with a bar attached...quite a nice touch IMO.

Know that bar too. Nice out back on a day like this. I'm going to Buffs today though. Let's get together for brews sometime. (when I'm not in Tel Aviv)

Buff's has great wings. Can be crowded sometimes but other than that it's a super place.

The bar at the Waverly Oaks gym (the "Wave") is kind of average. Only time I usually go is just to play pool there. How about an Rx billards night there sometime?

Sounds good...the Wave seems like it is stuck in the early 90's but we usually grab a few brews and our free pizza from the hoops league after our thursday night games...I would be down for an RX pool night...do they have TVs back in the billiard section?

Where is buffs?

They have TV's back in the billard section but no big screens. Waitresses are around to serve food and drinks while you play so it's a decent setup.

Buff's is in Newton at the Newton Corner area. Just off that Newton/Watertown Mass Pike exit where the big Sheraton hotel is. Not much in terms of TV's or seating there but they've got great wings and food.
