It is crazy out there. I try to shop for the best deal, and once one book moves a line the others move just as quickly.

I hate that most of the books not only move lines within seconds of each other, but also some books, like Pinnacle, give you so little time to place a wager before you get the "line have changed" message. I know this happens closer to game time alot, but it seems strange that EVERY book would move just because 1 or 2 do. The Internet has really changed the bookkeeper's way of moving odds.

I need recommendations in the following areas:

***Good offshore books that will still have a line up at least for 3-5 minutes after others have sprinted to change the lines

***Good offshore books that will let you place a wager in a REASONABLE TIME without moving the odds and telling you the lines have changed. I'm really only asking for 30-45 seconds, just enough time to check quickly to make certain I have the best line available.

Any help?

Thanks, Tim

The two slowest to move lines I have used are sportsbook.com and BetJamaica. In that order.

Well Some of those shops are getting hit at the same time. Others move on AIR, thats the way its always been and thats the way it shall always be. The ones that are not on the move are the ones that move according to their own action, and those are the ones that take very little.

As per your second request. Olympic has a 60 second hold on your bet for you to confirm.

Anyone who does this will not be in business long.

Olympic gives you 60 seconds.

If Olympic chooses to take the game completely offline, you lose the 60 second window.

Thank you for the input. I was wondering about Oly.

Anyone get screwed during the 60 seconds, or does the play get through most, if not all of the time?

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Mine has always gone through. Unfortunately including a few times when the line moved in my favor during that time. It's a two way street.
