Has anyone spent a whole summer trying this. If so any advice/stories?

One more question: are 8+ cent scalps possibile, without taking a lead?

forecasting is an important part of being a succesful baseball scalper....

real time scalps are not too common, try 5dimes with their nicel over nite baseball line.... it is a good place to start

There are a few shops (including reduce juice shops) that post over night lines but are slow to move the lines. For NBA I have been able to find at least 1 and sometimes 3 scalps a day at 7am Central time. Any where bewteen 3 and 8 cents per scalp. Not sure about bases though.

Honestly I don't scalp but I play high favorites. You can bet a public favorite with an allstar pitcher overnight at 5 dimes and get it back at 2 pm if you want. Typically they hit a high around 2-3 pm for night games and dog betters bring it back by game time.

Say -197 overnight

-232 at 2 pm

-212 at game time

And not till may when teams are good and Pitchers are 4-1 or legends anyway.

Problem with the scalp is its a lot of money scalping -200

also you need pinny or a dog book for the buyback

I did this back in the early nineties and made around 15 Dimes from May
thru August. I took alot of leads and yes, back then you could get more than
8 cent scalps. I also had up to 25 outs at my disposal and it was truley hard work and you had better pay attention on what was bet. There were times I was going so fast that I would bet the wrong side of a game and didn't know about it till I got my figures the next day. I hired a couple of guys to help me during crunch time, an hour in the morning and two hours in the afternoon. Was it worth it....back then, yes. I really would have a hard time doing it nowadays because EVERYONE has a Don Best. Much mor info out there today.
Also made some good friends back then because of all the action I was giving
to the books and all the clerks I dealt with. Commissions were also the reason
I was doing it....10 per cent here, 25 per cent there. But again, scalping is hard work and you had better get paid by everyone you bet...no carryovers!!!

By the way, the books I was dealing with were CRIS, GRANDE, CASCADE,
CARIB, a couple from Margarita Island, and around 10 locals. Other stores also but can't remember them..got down from anywhere from 500-10000.

Decent money, very hard work. I think that is why it is called "earning".

Last summer mansion was serving up incredible scalps left and right....but I think that was them trying to drum up business....they were also giving great scalps on other stuff....I don't think it will be like that this summer though...

Nowadays the stuff getting scalped are all prop bets..I know for a fact that there are a few posters lurking around them everyday..nothing wrong with
trying to earn.
