High risk. High reward. All or nothing on your investment. Is their anyting even comparable? The key word is wagering gives you "LEVERAGE" and with that you can put thousands and thousands of dollars to work for you in a short span of days. Hell, with a 10k bankroll (playing $110 a day on average) I have put over a 140k to work this year and at a little under a 5% ROI I have made $6,500. I know that this can work in the opposite direction too (beleive me I lost a TON during the NFL).
I went to my financial advisor yesterday and listening to him talk about 10% ROI on my yearly investments just doesn't excite me(knowing my investment bankroll is 10k, heck thats 1k a year) I wanted to say that I have made that in 1 weekend betting (and have lost twice as much also). I know this sounds like a ad for GA but I just can't get into the "market" with any passion. Does anyone else have the same problems? What do you do? Leverage seems to be the thing that can make this happen. Are their are investments similar to sports wagering?
