and I did not have any urges to go to the Sportsbook to place my bets. Instead, I placed them online...

I think I'm just lazy to collect the paper ticket and go back to the same sportsbook just to collect the cash.

Was there something wrong with me? :icon_conf

I use Vegas as a chance to take a break from sportsbetting. Kinda odd, I guess. Just swap that for balckjack for a few days.

I somewhat agree...I don't like the stress of placing my wagers in the sportsbooks. Just sit in front of the computer and

:modemman:

I love sitting around a sportsbook though during football season. I just sit back and listen to the banter...

Great fades.

Nope nothing wrong with you. When I go to Vegas, I usually take my laptop and make my plays on-line and then go to one of my favorite sportsbooks and watch the game if it is televised. Spoiled by the convenience of on-line shopping and no need to carry alot of cash.

When I'm in Vegas, I never bet online. I either call it in or bet right there. I used to call my local guy from Vegas when I was there so I could work on credit and not use what I had with me. If I felt strongly about some games, I'd bet it there and locally, so I could collect right away!

Online betting is sooo much better. Just wanted to know if I was the only one alone on this issue. Any more opinions are welcomed.

When I'm in Vegas during Basketball season, I do a lot of line shopping between the offshores and the sportsbooks. It's been my experience that the Vegas sportsbooks are way behind the offshore books when it comes to line movement. Unfortunately, it's a major challenge to see a line move offshore and get to the right sportsbook to place a wager in just a few minutes.

I actually enjoy placing bets at the sports books evven though computer access is a few steps away....part of the fun I guess...when I'm there I can handle losing a few bucks on the juice...not a big deal...there more for entertainment purposes.
