hello again everybody. it has been a hectic last three months for me. things finally getting back to normal. it has been awhile since i have made daily posts/picks. now is as good as time as any with the start of major league baseball.

GO PHILLIES!!! BRAVES SUCK!!!

had to get that in.

hopefully we can all make some money and i can help out a little as well. my handicapping skills have not been that great lately. i know when i first started posting picks in these forums, i did very well and was respected. past couple of years i have been losing. time to get back to winning and earn some of that respect back that i have lost.

i will rate my plays one and two units for the year. my goal is to only have one two unit play each day and the rest only one units each.

on to tonights opener..................

I just cannot pick a side in this one. it really could go either way. if you put a gun to my head i would take cleveland because they are the dog, but i am noth touching it. that leaves the total, which i do like.

i guess you can look at totals early on two ways. is hitting ahead of pitching? or the other way around? i have read where teams will pull there starter after 5 innings because they don't want to wear their pitchers out early. i don't buy that. how can anybody think like that in the first week of the season. if my pitcher is throwing a shutout or has only given up one run.....he is staying in. sometimes there is too much thinking involved.

i see two quality pitchers throwing tonight. I am surprised the total is 8, i was thinking 7. this to me has 3-2 written all over it. i am going to trust my instincts in this first game and take the under

one unit play

under 8 (-120) white sox/cleveland

good luck everybody!!
