Well been here for over 5 months and haven't posted many plays but since I joined Jman's/Betjam contest will follow bases and bet daily, so I figured I my as well post. I am very excited to possibily share daily thoughts and ideas and hopefully make some money for me and who ever has the guts to follow.
Will use a system I put together in 2004 and went 97-113 for +12.67 (bet mostly dogs and only shopped 1 book. Pinny) over the last 10 weeks of regular season. The reason I didn't I do this last year was becasue of the daily commitment to capping and ended up using a paid service and lost over 25 units.
3 major factors I have learned from other sports and will attempt to do in this to hopefully add to my bottom line:
1) dedication EVERYDAY to this. Without it you will kick yourself and have self doubt. I hope to play 20-30 games a week and hope my advantages kick in after a few hundred plays.
2) shop till you drop. I shopped my ass off in hoops (learned this from trait from other poster here) to the tune of over 65+ units betting hoops and will learn as we go along to find tricks to find the best line. A dollar here and a dollar there will add up HUGE at the end of the year.
3) bet only 1% of br (10k). I have tried different methods but from a stress factor this one is BY FAR the best to me. Like i said earleir lots of plays will be the key. When you change your pct of br bet you begin to handicap your handicapping (if you know what I mean).
Well let's see if we an grind out a few thousand dollars this year. Will be back later with plays.
