Alright folks. After speaking to some of my friends in Chicago, yes, it was raining there earlier and it looks like there will be some rain tonight BUT nothing major to delay/disturb the game. Best case scenario I've heard is just chilly temperature, worst case scenario is rain slightly heavier than a drizzle. We'll see what happens...
Regarding wind, the last forecast I saw expected the wind to be blowing in for the most part tonight. Not sure how/if that's been affected by the rainy weather's arrival.

Podsednik will be going tonight and has said he's feeling very good. Hopefully he stays loose in the cold weather. I would hate to see him strain his muscle again.
CC Sabathia did not have an impressive spring training, but like people often say, that was then and this is now. The last time these two pitchers squared off against each other here in Chicago was last season on June 5th, Cleveland won 6-4. However, what killed us in that game was we made 2 errors and gave up 3 runs in the top of the 9th. We got our revenge on CC later on when we went to Cleveland and beat them 7-1 on July 15th.
All things considered, here in this new season, I'm going with my boys to get it done at home tonight. We waited 88 years to win a world series, and we're not about to fall apart the following opening night. Riding the emotion at the Cell tonight...
