I agree Pat, laying low during these times when we shouldn't really have a play is probably best, i.e. yesterdays final four, it's much easier to find value on any given day then these 'special occasions'....someday I will learn!

Yep, a short card is a bookies best friend. Always has been and probably always will be. For me I have noticed every April I am down anywhere between 5-12 units before the month is over. That is a lot for me to dig out of before I can get out of the hole and even begin to make a profit. I have finally realized I do much better when I am patient and let the teams run through their rotations a few times. Doesn't work for everyone but it definitely helps me to hold on. Looking at your record from last year though I wouldn't change a thing, LOL.
BTW you are right on Sabathia. I have seen him throw in spring training a lot. He trys new pitches and they run him a lot trying to get his weight down. He will look erratic as hell yet when the season begins he can really come out smoking. Starting to talk myself into an under play, LOL.

I call this my opening night 'lean' like when a 5 mph wind blows kind of lean...nothing more.
but we have two quality pitchers going here, who both had great seasons and both started very well last season...
Sabathia always worries me , because he can get wild out of nowhere, he's one of those guys that can give up a seeing eye single, hit a batter, and a swinging bunt and the next thing you know its 6-0, if he settles in early then the play should work, if they get into either bullpen early (the White Sox only real weakness) then this play will be toast.
