I am pretty sure it is 1am local time. A inning can't start after that time

That used to be a rule in the NL only but I thought they did away with it. I do know that the teams don't play tomorrow so they'll probably play the whole thing.

Looks like they'll start 9th by 2am Eastern, but is there a curfew or not ?

I haven't heard announcers discuss it.

Still no mention from announcers, need some quick outs to get it in before 1 AM local.

I think it goes the distance though. Don't see them stopping it after 8 innings with this score

Agreed...They will let it go i'm sure. Otherwise they would have to "suspend" it and finish another day from the spot it was suspended.. Done deal

If there is a rule how can they violate it ?

I dont know, just seems like if it were minutes away they would keep going.

Anyway, 1-2-3 here and it won't matter

If this rule is still in place, I can't believe the announcers wouldn't say anything about it. 9th is gonna start after 1

That last out was at 2am ! I think there may not be a rule, perhaps only city ordinances which may vary ?

I don't see anything mentioned about a MLB mandated curfew.

I only scanned the page but this is the only curfew reference I saw....

4.12
SUSPENDED GAMES. (a) A league shall adopt the following rules providing for completion at a future date of games terminated for any of the following reasons: (1) A curfew imposed by law; (2) A time limit permissible under league rules; (3) Light failure or malfunction of a mechanical field device under control of the home club. (Mechanical field device shall include automatic tarpaulin or water removal equipment). (4) Darkness, when a law prevents the lights from being turned on. (5) Weather, if the game is called while an inning is in progress and before it is completed, and one of the following situations prevails: (i) The visiting team has scored one or more runs to tie the score, and the home team has not scored. (ii) The visiting team has scored one or more runs to take the lead, and the home team has not tied the score or retaken the lead. (b) Such games shall be known as suspended games.
