Nice W to start the year off. Seemed like a slow start playing in Philly yesterday was stupid scheduling.
New faces did ok. Coco played a nice CF--needs to get on base this year though to cause problems.
Loretta WILL surprise. I LOVE him--think he was our best pickup. A solid SB who can handle the stick. Best sign was his gapper and Coco scoring from first.
Lowell hit one out and AGon only needs to do it in the field.
Ortiz is a BEAST and is already in good form. Manny was not needed.
Tek had the first big hit of the year. Schilling was very good and Papelbon did his job. BUT here we go with this PEN again. Foulke WILL NOT get it done. He got ROCKED. The game might have actually been a nailbitter if not for Coco's catch. All those moves and we Still have this problem. What is the answer Hansen?? Papelbon?? Timlin?? Oh well--score MORE allow Less that will have to do it.
