Mixed results on Opening Day, as we had some easy winners like the Cubs, and some bad losers like the Phillies. I could have been a much better day, as 2 games were lost by a run, but that happens. Overall, it resulted in a mere half unit loss, but it's a long season, and there will be good things to come. Here are my selections for Tuesday.
LA - Atlanta OVER 7 (-115)
These teams clubbed 21 runs on Monday, and I really like both of these offenses this season. In addition, Atlanta's bullpen is absolutely awful and both teams had to dip into their pen early for Opening Day.
Cleveland +136 ChiSox
NY Yankees - Oakland OVER 8 (-125)
The Yanks all-star lineup will continue to pound away (ie Sunday night), and I don't think Mussina will be able to be effective forever. Both teams should score 4+ runs in this one.
I have a few plays that I am waiting for the lines to move on, and will probably add 2 or 3 plays early tomorrow. Good luck!
